TYSIM Machinery Assists Beijing-Hangzhou Canal Shiqiao Lock Waterway Regulation Project

The waterway regulation project of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal Shiqiao Lock to the Yangtze River Estuary Section is a pilot project for provinces and cities to jointly build a green modern shipping demonstration area of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and it is also a landmark project to promote the construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt with high quality.

According to the approval of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the waterway regulation project of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal Shiqiao Lock to the Yangtze River Estuary Section is regulated according to the second-level waterway standard, and the design grade of large ships is 2000 tons; the bottom width of the waterway is not less than 70 meters, and the small navigable water depth is 4.0 meters. The project will renovate the waterway mileage of 5.37 kilometers, rebuild one bridge, expand the anchorage to be located at the downstream of Shiqiao Lock, add berths, increase service functions, and support the construction of ecological greening, shipping cultural facilities, smart canals and navigation mark facilities within the scope of the waterway land. The approved budget for the project is 1.33 billion yuan. After purchasing a KR125 rotary drilling rig, TYSIM customers signed a contract with TYSIM Foundation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TYSIM Machinery, to lease three rotary drilling rigs of the same type to help improve the waterway, which also represents the customers' full trust in TYSIM Machinery.
