Recently, multiple Caterpillar-based drilling rigs owned by Wuxi TYSIM RENTAL & SERVICE (hereinafter referred to as “TYSIM”) have demonstrated exceptional performance in a major construction project in Turkey. Located in a critical economic zone of the country, the project involved pile foundation construction with diameters of 0.8m and 1m at depths of up to 18m in clay formations. As a leading Chinese enterprise specializing in rental services for small and medium-sized rotary drilling rigs, TYSIM RENTAL & SERVICE has reinforced its international market presence through its comprehensive service support and the adaptability and fuel efficiency of its equipment under complex geological conditions.
Accurately Hold Clay Strata, Customized Design Enhances Construction Efficiency
The clay formation in the construction area of the Turkey project, known for its high plasticity and susceptibility to disturbance, posed stringent requirements on the drilling stability and muck handling capability of the equipment. TYSIM's Caterpillar-based rotary drilling rigs successfully overcame this geological challenge through targeted customized design. The optimized split-type combination tool, specifically designed for cohesive soil characteristics, features improved intake gaps that allow a single soil extraction volume to reach 85% of the barrel capacity. Moreover, the unique hydraulically driven spoil discharge mechanism reduces each unloading cycle to within 10 seconds, significantly cutting down overall construction time.
Full-Cycle Service Support System: Worry-Free Spare Parts Supply
Leveraging years of service experience in the Turkish market, TYSIM has established a "72-hour response zone" covering major construction regions, ensuring timely technical support and maintenance services. To meet project needs, TYSIM has stocked ample critical spare parts in local warehouses, enabling swift response to equipment repair demands and minimizing downtime to the greatest extent. Prior to the project launch, TYSIM’s technical service team in Turkey conducted dedicated on-site surveys and adapted the equipment to local climate conditions, ensuring stable operation even under high temperatures of around 40°C in summer. During construction, TYSIM also utilized its remote monitoring system—"TYSIM Cloud"—to perform real-time diagnostics on equipment status. This service model has earned high praise from customers.
