Recently, the Samarkand Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Power Generation Project in Uzbekistan officially commenced construction. As the equipment rental service provider and construction party for the piling works of this project, AVP Co., Ltd.—the Uzbek subsidiary jointly established by Wuxi TYSIM RENTAL & SERVICE (hereinafter referred to as “TYSIM RENTAL & SERVICE”) and Shanghai Aosong Industrial Co., Ltd.—has deployed multiple Caterpillar-based rotary drilling rigs developed by its parent company, TYSIM Piling Equipment Co., Ltd., to the site. With highly efficient and professional equipment support, the project has received crucial assistance for this landmark initiative under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Project Background: The rise of a green energy hub in Central Asia

The Samarkand waste power generation project is a key project of the Uzbek government to promote the transformation of the energy structure and achieve sustainable development. According to the Ukrainian plan, the project will treat 1,500 tons of domestic waste per day after completion, with an annual power generation capacity of 240 million kilowatt-hours, which can meet the electricity needs of 50,000 local households, while significantly alleviating the pressure on urban waste disposal. As an iconic project under the framework of the ”Belt and Road" initiative, it is not only a model of Sino-Ukrainian capacity cooperation, but will also provide a technological demonstration for the development of renewable energy in Central Asia.

TYSIM deeply participated in the construction of the project through AVP Company. AVP Company was established in 2019 and is headquartered in Tashkent. It is the core carrier of TYSIM's layout in the Central Asian market.Relying on the technical accumulation of the parent company in the field of piling machinery, AVP has integrated equipment and service resources of international brands such as Caterpillar, and established cooperation with financial institutions such as China Credit Insurance and China Development Bank to form a full-chain service capability of “equipment supply + engineering construction + financial support”.At present, AVP has set up branches in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, and gradually built a service network covering Central Asia.

24/7 Response: Safeguarding Central Asian Projects with Superior Service

As a professional provider of rotary drilling rig leasing services, TYSIM and AVP always adhere to the service philosophy of "Timeliness, Professionalism, and Thoroughness." Whether in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, or other Central Asian countries, our team offers 24/7 rapid response services to ensure continuous and stable equipment operation. Professional after-sales engineers are stationed on the front lines, enabling them to arrive on-site at the earliest opportunity to resolve issues, minimizing any impact on customer project progress.

What’s more, TYSIM has independently developed the "TYSIM Cloud" global data monitoring platform, which enables round-the-clock online monitoring of all leased rotary drilling rigs. This platform tracks equipment operational status, construction data, and operator activity in real time, providing early fault warnings and maintenance reminders. This effectively prevents unplanned downtime and enhances both construction efficiency and equipment management capabilities. Truly achieving "global oversight from one screen, zero-delay service."

Future Outlook: Deepen cooperation in Central Asia and build a new picture of the "Belt and Road"

With the advancement of the Samarkand project, TYSIM plans to further expand its service network in Central Asia.According to the plan, AVP will complete the establishment of a marketing service center and the construction of an accessories center in addition to Tashkent by the end of 2026.“We hope that through the Samarkand Region project, we will set a benchmark for China-Ukraine infrastructure cooperation.“Mr. Simon, chairman of TYSIM, said, "In the future, we will continue to be driven by technological innovation, integrate resources along the ‘Belt and Road’, and contribute Chinese wisdom to building a green and efficient regional infrastructure network."”

Samarkand, a historical city on the ancient Silk Road, is now witnessing the green revolution of the new period. The Caterpillar chassis rotary drilling rig developed by TYSIM not only drilled hard formations, but also opened up a new space for cooperation between China and Uzbekistan in the field of environmental protection. As the 2026 Uzbekistan International Mining and Construction Machinery Exhibition approaches, more high-end piling equipment made in China will continue to flood into this “landlocked country” in the hinterland of Central Asia, providing more green solutions for the “Belt and Road” countries.
